If an upload includes issues, make the necessary updates and re-upload your file — no need to start over. It’s designed to make your transition and product management as seamless as possible.

Accessing the Uploads Page

From the SmartRepricer Dashboard, click Listings > Uploads.

You’ll see the standard upload workflow, displayed as:

Step 1: Create Template

Step 2: Edit Your Data

Step 3: Upload & Process

This path is the exact location where you’ll access both template types.

Tip: If you’re migrating from another repricer, the same Listings → Uploads page is used.

You can expand or hide each section by clicking the tab on the right side of the page.

Creating Templates

Using the Uploads feature, you can download two templates.

A. Inventory Template

This template contains your current repricing data:

Current ASIN and SKU information

Current strategies and prices

Enables quick bulk updates

B. Blank Template

You can use this template for new products or when transferring your inventory from another repricer.

Clean, empty format

Standard field headers

Flexible data entry

Editing Your Data

Open the Excel file and update product information, prices, and quantities according to upload rules, or add new products.

The file contains the following sections in order:

  1. Instructions

  2. Data Definitions

  3. Sample

  4. Repricing Template

Instructions

This tab outlines all the steps to follow within the Excel file for a successful upload.

Data Definitions

Here, you can take a look at the examples of the required values and data types for each field.

Sample

You can use this tab as a reference to see a correctly completed example of an upload template.

Repricing Temple

This is the working tab where you’ll enter your product details. You can begin adding products here, following the template structure.

Uploading Your Data and Upload Rules

Once your data is ready, could you review the upload rules listed in the Excel file?

Each rule defines how your data must be structured — from Marketplace Matching and Valid Values to Reference Fields and Column Structure.

Mandatory fields:

ASIN

SKU

Strategy

Marketplace

Cost currency (must be completed for all products)

After verifying your data, locate your file and click Upload File.

Please make sure that your file is saved in .xlsx format.

Tracking Your Upload

After submitting your file, you can monitor the upload process under Recent Uploads.

You’ll see the following statuses:

  • Processing: File is being analyzed and processed

  • Completed: Operation finished successfully.

  • Error: An issue occurred during processing

Each upload includes a detailed report summarizing the results:

  • Total: Number of products processed

  • Successful Operations: Products successfully created, updated, or published — now visible to your customers

  • Warnings: Products processed with missing or optimizable fields (download the warning report to review them)

  • Errors: Products that could not be processed due to missing information, incorrect formats, or rule violations

You can expand or hide this section using the Hide/Show feature.

Reviewing and Fixing Errors

After uploading, click "View Errors" to view detailed results or download the error report.

Tip: Download the error report to fix issues and upload it again.

You can see an example of one of the errors that may occur here.

In this example error, we did not assign the correct strategy name, and here is the result.

That's it. You'll see all of your submitted inventory on the Dashboard very shortly.
